It would seem that many people in the hotel have the X Factor, not only Joe Mcelderry winner of the show in 2009 who visited us at the end of February. We have been winning awards left right and centre!!

Robin has won employee of the month for January, he tirelessly cleared the car park of all the snow and ice to ensure that guests wouldn't slip, and the staff consultative committee voted unanimously that he should be the winner.

Congratulations to Stephanie Cannell (Manager of the Year), Gemma Kenny (New Entrant of the Year), and Tory Harper (Support Person of the Year) who all won awards at our company awards dinner held at the hotel. Cheryl Mulvey (Chef of the Year), and Tom Meara (Receptionist of the Year) were runners up in their categories. Check out the pictures from the evening on the doorman's gallery.

We are holding the Liverpool Ambassador Awards ceremony here at the hotel at the end of March, and Jenny Duncan (Harbour Club Receptionist) has been shortlisted for an award. We wish Jenny the best of luck, and will have our fingers crossed on the night.
